Notes
- = Photius tau31 Theodoridis. Both headword and gloss are apparently dative plural neuter nouns, although there is some uncertainty about the headword, which is transmitted as
ta/lesin , otherwise unattested in any form. Theodoridis obelizes it and expresses approval for the view of Dobree and Cobet [and Casaubon before them, citing Demosthenes 6.30: see Adler's note] that it is a corruption ofte/lesin ('payments'; hence the translation tentatively offered here for the headword). Although there is no precise parallel for this combination of headword and gloss, forms of the current glossa)na/lwma ('expense') are frequently used in lexica and scholia to gloss forms ofte/los ('payment'); e.g. Timaeus Platonic Lexicon 1004a5, Hesychius tau400.
