Notes (3)
- 1The headword is superlative of the adjective
qriph/destos (web address 1, and theta 504), here in the masculine accusative singular or neuter nominative/accusative singular. Same glossing in in other lexica; evidently quoted from somewhere (perhaps Theophrastus, Enquiry into Plants 3.8.5). ↩ - 2From the scholia to Aristophanes, Thesmophoriazusae 427. Likewise in Photius and other lexica; and cf. tau 1040. ↩
- 3See theta 504. ↩
