Translation

[Meaning he/she/it] received, admitted.
"He accepted the presence of Hasdrubal."¹

Ἀνεδέχετο· προσεδέχετο, ἐξυπέμεινεν. ὁ δὲ ἀνεδέχετο τὴν Ἀσδρούβου παρουσίαν. καὶ ἀντὶ τοῦ ἐξήνεγκεν. ὁ δὲ τούτοις πιστεύων ἀνεδέχετο τὸν πρὸς Ἀριαράθην πόλεμον.
