Translation

In reference to creation [sc. this verb is spelled] with one nu, but in reference to conception with two.¹
And David [says]: "my tears became bread for me."² That is, I am making my tears a kind of nourishment.

Ἐγενήθη· ἐπὶ τῆς ποιήσεως δι' ἑνὸς ν, ἐπὶ δὲ τῆς κυήσεως διὰ δύο. καὶ Δαβίδ· ἐγενήθη τὰ δάκρυά μου ἐμοὶ ἄρτος. τουτέστιν οἷόν τινα τροφὴν ποιοῦμαι τὰ δάκρυα.
