Notes (2)

  1. 1The headword, presumably extracted from the quotation given, is aorist active participle, masculine nominative singular, of the rare verb parablu/zw. ↩
  2. 2Quotation unidentifiable. (Adler notes Valckenaer's attribution of it to Aelian.) For disgorging wine, cf. Philostratus, Imagines 1.22.1. ↩
