Notes (2)

  1. The headword, dative plural of this neuter noun, is presumably extracted from the quotation given.
  2. 1An approximation of Polybius 3.100.4, on Hannibal at Gerunium (Apulia, S Italy) in 217 BCE (see web address 1). ↩
  3. 2Adler does print here the genitive singular of a related masculine noun, while noting that some of the mss have its nominative plural. For this see also Hesychius sigma761. The accusative plural occurs in Genesis 41.56 LXX. ↩
