Translation
[Meaning one who is] getting tipsy; [the term comes] from what is said by children.1 Aristophanes [writes]: "[I enjoy] drinking all day long. And I want to maintain a thieving leader. Whenever he is full, I demote and smite him."2 Meaning whenever he becomes renowned, that is full; whenever he seems to have grown and to be large, I made this man humble. That is, having allowed [him] to become wealthy, I will confiscate [his property].
