Greek original · Adler’s text

Notes
- The headword, an accusative plural (presumably quoted from somewhere), is transmitted as
pulaista/tous here and (with the same gloss) in Photius pi1533 Theodoridis; Hesychius pi4341, correctly, haspulaiasta/s (with the gloss 'liars'). LSJ s.v. glosses the word as 'buffoons, mountebanks, such as flocked to Pylae and Delphi during the Amphictionic assembly'.
For Pylai/Pylae see pi 3161.
