Notes
- Same entry in the Synagoge, Lexica Segueriana 336.13, and Photius, Lexicon pi597, where Theodoridis suggests that the headword -- perfect active, third person plural, of
paroine/w -- is quoted from Cyril of Alexandria, Commentary on Isaiah 1.1 (PG 70.40b, in fact one of several instances in that author). Another possibility [FJ] is the comic poet Heniochus [eta 392] fr. 5.18 Kassel-Austin, preserved in Stobaeus.
Other forms ofparoine/w in the Suda include pi 720 and pi 721.
