wrongful registration

Translation
This [is] the name of a lawsuit. One might ask in what way wrongful registration differs from conspiracy [bouleusis]; for Lycurgus posits differences.1 So perhaps those who applied for a wrongful registration [suit] were men who owed nothing but had been falsely listed [sc. as if they did], whereas bouleusis [would be the procedural option for] those whose debts had been incurred long ago and paid off, but were now falsely listed again, in a conspiracy.
