Notes
- Entry lacking, Adler reports, in mss AFV.
The unglossed headword, evidently extracted from somewhere (Adler suggests Symeon Metaphrastes), is a two-ending adjective in the masculine and feminine accusative plural; see generally LSJ s.v.sunei/saktos .
The headword form is first attested at Eusebius, Historica Ecclesiastica 7.30.12: he upbraids Paul of Samosata (pi 813), Bishop of Antioch 260-268, for employing two attractive young women, ostensibly introduced together as housekeepers, but by all appearances being too cozy with the bishop; see Maier, pp. 245-248.
