Notes (1)

  1. This present infinitive is also (also unglossed) in Photius (tau504 Theodoridis); and cf. omicron 986 = sigma 713.
  2. 1LSJ lists two tropo/w verbs, one meaning 'I put to flight' (related to the noun tro/pos) and the other 'I put the thong on an oar' (related to the noun tropo/s). Both of them can be used in the middle voice with an accusative; it is not clear which the Suda means. ↩
