Notes (2)

  1. 1The primary headword is aorist passive participle of tu/ptw, masculine nominative singular. Same glossing in the Synagoge (tau296) and Photius (tau559 Theodoridis); similar in Hesychius, Apollonius' Homeric Lexicon, and a scholion on Homer, Iliad 11.191 (where the headword occurs). Compare tau 1175 and tau 1179 with the related noun tuph/. ↩
  2. 2Also in the Synagoge (tau297) and Photius (tau560 Theodoridis) but with movable nu; quoted from an unidentifiable context. ↩
