Translation
The sacrifices which take place before the ploughing,1 concerned with the crops that are to be, with a view to a good harvest. They were performed by [the] Athenians on behalf of all Greeks in the 205th Olympiad.2 Lycurgus says in the [speech] against Menesaechmus: "for now I owe to you honours many and great and I am eager to make a proerosia in the presence of all Greeks as they consult the oracle of Zeus".3
