Translation

Those [men] who are sent to [Thermo]pylai for the Amphictionic synod. City by city they used to send men to perform the sacrifices and sit in the synod. Those who were sent were the Pylagorai and the Hieromnemones. The story goes that Pylades was the first one chosen, at the time of the murder of Clytemnestra, and the name arose from him. [sc. Such functionaries] also went to Delphi, as inspectors of what was being spent on the sacrifices.
