Notes (2)

  1. The unglossed headword -- presumably extracted from the first quotation given -- is imperfect indicative middle, third person singular, of paraite/omai. For other forms of the same verb see pi 504 to pi 510 and pi 641.
  2. 1Quotation (transmitted, in Adler's view, via the Excerpta Constantini Porphyrogeniti) unidentifiable. ↩
  3. 2Polybius 38.20.4 (= Constantine Porphyrogenitus, Excerpta de sententiis 217.21). Not identified by Adler, but identifiable via the TLG; cf. Favuzzi [cited under alpha 1518] 57. ↩
