[Meaning one who is] neglecting, laying down against, despising. "And letting himself go on account of grief, he was reclining."1
But parh=s ["you were there"] meaning you were present [sc. is different].2

Notes (2)

  1. The headword (presumably extracted from the quotation given) is the aorist active participle of pari/hmi, nominative singular masculine.
For a different gloss of the same word, see pi 600.
  2. 1Quotation not identified by Adler but identifiable via the TLG as an approximation of Dionysius of Halicarnassus, Roman Antiquities 1.87.3. ↩
  3. 2= pi 634, inserted here because the two lemmas were homophonous in late Greek. Compare also (for the glossing) pi 594, pi 635. ↩
